ATAP Urges Congress to Put Patients First in the Fight to Lower Drug Prices

In a letter to the Senate Finance Committee, ATAP Action Network outlines commonsense reforms to lower prescription drug costs by addressing the practices of pharmacy benefit managers that can drive up prices and limit patient access. ATAP urges Congress to increase transparency, curb vertical integration and PBM kickbacks, pass rebate savings directly to patients, and expand reforms that separate PBM compensation from the price of medicines.
